The 3ptCapital web application is comprised of 3 main components.
1 – The Learning Center – It covers everything you need to know to Trade Futures. My goal is to provide you with pertinent information, but in a concise and easy to read way. So each section will not take you long to go through, but the information is critical to understand – So please read it, understand it, and if you don’t after the first go, then re-read as many times as required.
2 – The Alchymist Platform - This is the Next Generation all in one Trading Platform that you have at your fingertips. Clean Historical Data; Custom Analytics and Heat Maps; Odds tables which are actuarial tables as it pertains to price movement; look-back capability to conduct your own historical research, as well as a Charting Application.
3 – 3PC Blog – Commentary and videos utilizing the tools in the platform.
Your first job is to go through all of the material in the learning center. Read it as many times as necessary in order to absorb the concepts and terminology. Then begin reviewing the reports, data tables, and Charting Application in the Alchymist platform. Start to follow us on our blog, read our research reports, and watch our videos. Go through the archives - all reports, posts and videos are saved for learning and review purposes.
When starting your trading education there is no need to have a brokerage account open and watching the tape all day long. End of day prices and review is sufficient at the outset - you are just starting to learn. One of the biggest mistakes aspiring traders make is to jump in feet first right away, thinking the quickest way to learn is by doing, but this is absolutely incorrect.
Any successful learning program will consist of a series of steps and milestones that are achieved over time. You build the foundation one day at a time, brick by brick, and then from that solid foundation you begin to move forward. Think of what a rookie draft pick in the National Football League goes through from April through August, before stepping out on the field against other professionals. Same concept here.
When you are ready to trade, a Live Simulated Trading Account should be your next step. You will enter orders, close trades, watch the tape, watch intra-day charts and more. You will begin to immerse yourself in the trading game. Most importantly you will be competing against other traders, and this competition will raise your level of play. The key point here is that there is absolutely no risk of loss. You will be simulating real-time game conditions but in a practice environment.
Once you have exhibited the ability to trade profitability in simulation, you are now ready to compete against professionals in the trading arena.
